He is also working on the Rams and Yowes blanket by Kate Davies and that is knit out of Knitpicks Palette held double and worked on US size 9/5.5mm needles.

None for this week!

Josh bought a trindle from trindleman on etsy and is spinning 4 oz. of  Kraemer Yarns Mauch Chunky in Pine Nut.

Josh reviewed the current issue of Knitter's Magazine. (107)

He also reviewed Knitting with the Color Guys by Brandon Malby and Kaffe Fassett

He also reviewed Kaffe Knits Again by Kaffe Fassett and is planning his next project out of this book!

Josh acquired a BUNCH of yarn this week and while most of it was Valley Yarns Northampton, he also picked up 3 skeins of Malabrigo Sock in Alcaucil, Stonechat, and Black, as well as one skein of Dream in Color Smooshy Sock in Scorched Lime. And where did this great stuff come from? Webs of course! ;)

He is on itunes!

the weather is CRAZY in Minnesota!

A big thank you to the Knitgirllls for giving a shout out on their podcast!

and another BIG thank you to the girls from The Stockinette Zombies

  1. Josh, I love your Rams and Yowes blanket. It is breath taking.

You should see Kaffe Fassett's line of fabrics. OMG, the colors are beautiful. I'm also a quilter and have made quilts using his fabric. He's knits are beautiful also, it's just not something i can do. Can't wait to see how your blanket turns out.

Love your show! Keep up the enthusiasm. sure hope you open up a Ravelry page.

  2. You are a breath of fresh air! I enjoy seeing your work with a different view on colors and the yarn you choose. I too do not have a circle of knitting friends and consider all the pops asters that I learn to and watch my knitting friends. Look forward to your next episode. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I couldn't find you after hearing about your podcast from the Knitgirllls, but today Steve from Dramatic Knits mentioned you and he has the link to your blog so I've added you to my google reader so I won't miss an episode. I've caught up with the 4 so far and enjoyed them. Don't have any useful feedback and no opinion on the Celestine so I'm not much help there. It's nice to see what others are doing, so thanks for sharing!

  4. Frist time listener! Loved your podcast! Great job!
